  More expensive than Market Basket, but perhaps a better value. Very clean, well run et cetera. Produce quality and selection is a major plus.

  Wanted to try Hannaford since we had problems with Shaws' sales and shelf prices not applying at register. First time using Hannaford for our weekly trip the exact same thing happened. Lightbulbs listed at 4.99 ended up being 16.99. Had to wait in line at customer service counter twice to be told that I can't expect tags to be accurate all the time and it's not the store's fault.

  Hannaford always has a good selection of basic and sustainable products. Is a good place to shop for the whole family. Sometimes produce section is a little lacking but other than that it's a great go to grocery.
